Learn how to dance with your friends and family! We offer group classes for couples, as well as "women-only" and "men-only" classes for friends/singles without a partner. Bring your own group of friends to our studio and take a class together, or let us come to you.
Please note that at this time we do not offer general group classes open to the public, only for private parties (groups of 3 or more), so you are responsible for providing your own group for the class.
We can accommodate groups of 3-8 people in our studio for a class. Groups of 9 or more people will have their class conducted outside of the studio at a location of their choice.
Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Merengue, Reggaeton, and more. Let us know what you would like to learn and how you'd like to spend your class time and we will come up with a program for you.
We offer "solo" Ladies dancing and styling (women's only classes) if you'd like to make an afternoon or night out with your girlfriends.
Drinks & Alcohol
We can provide you with water, but we do not sell/provide alcohol at the studio. You are welcome to BYOB your own beer, wine, etc., as long as you consume responsibly and all guests are 21+ years of age with a valid photo ID.
In-Studio Group Class:
3-8 People: $150/hour
Our In-Studio group classes are held in our private Oakland Hills location by Merritt College and can hold up to 8 guests. Please contact us for the address.
Out of Studio Group Class and/or Special Event:
Class for 3-20 People: $150/1 hour
Class for 20-30 People: $200/1 hour
Class for 30+ People: $250/1 hour
Additional Instruction/Dancing with Guests after Class: $100-$150/hour (prorated per half hour)
Teaching Assistant for Conducting Class and/or Dance Partner for Dancing with Guests: $50/hour
Administrative Fees to Organize Your Event & Travel to You from Oakland:
Oakland: No fee
East Bay (Between Richmond/Concord/Livermore/Fremont): $50
Valley/Far East Bay (Tracy, Modesto, Antioch/Stockton): $100
South Bay (Between Palo Alto/San Jose): $100
North Bay/Marin County: $100
San Francisco/Peninsula: $100
*Santa Cruz/Gilroy: $150
*Sonoma/Santa Rosa/Vacaville: $150
Deposit & Balance: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due 7 days in advance in order to secure booking for the event. The remaining balance for your event is due in full 3 days prior to event. Any additional services requested after the fact must be paid in full prior to instructor's departure from event. Cancellations made less than 7 days are subject to the full cost of the event. Consultation: We'd love to meet with you in person at our studio in Oakland or talk to you over the phone to discuss your special event/group class needs. We may also come to your event location in advance for a consultation. We ask for at least 2-3 weeks notice prior to booking an event. If booking less than 2 weeks in advance, we may not be able to guarantee availability or all services (e.g. teaching assistant, additional dancing) for your event.
*For group classes and special events outside of the studio, the student/client is responsible for finding & securing a suitable location. Travel & administrative fees are to be paid in addition to the class fee. Teaching assistant fee in addition to instructor's class fee. Please note that a 2-3 hour minimum may apply depending on the location, type of event, and services requested, especially for events located more than 1 hour away from Oakland. Please contact us with your event information to get an estimate/quote.
