Real World Examples

Avoid These Disasters in Your Business

You were hired to work at an event, but no contract or paperwork was signed. Now the event is over and you've done your work, how do you get paid? The event host isn't around and won't answer the phone, what do you do? Do you pay your employees out of pocket and just write it off as a loss?

One of your group class teachers just got into an argument with the owner and decided to quit. She left the studio and took all of the students with her and started working for someone else. You didn't have her sign a contract or non-compete clause. What do you about all of the students you just lost?  How much time and money is it going to cost to replace those customers with new ones? How do you go about hiring a new teacher? How do you make sure that this situation won't happen again?

Customers are writing bad online reviews about you complaining about one of your staff members being rude and unprofessional, but you don't know anything about it because no one is managing your online presence. How do you handle it? How do you fix a problem that you don't even know about?

One of your competitors is outperforming you and you don't know why. They're not more talented than you, but they consistently bring in new customers while you're sitting around complaining about how few you have. What do they do that you don't? What's their secret? How come they're successful and you're not?

A customers walks in and leaves and no one knows anything about it. What did you do to turn her off? How many people do you have walking in, and right back out without buying anything? How come your work isn't speaking to them? How do you provide an exceptional experience to every customer who walks in?
